כרטיס בברכה לראש השנה וקופסת הפתעות - A New year's greeting card and a box of surprises

ראש השנה כבר בפתח ואני בעיצומן של הכנות של כרטיסי "שנה טובה".
השבוע הכנתי כרטיס ברכה לפי ההדרכה של אליס.
על מנת ליצור אפקט מעניין בכרטיס, שילבתי בו כמה דפים שונים בעלי טקסטורה שונה והדבקתי חלק מהאלמנטים עם דבק תלת ממדי החלק הקשה שנשאר לי לעשות הוא לבחור למי לתת את הכרטיס!

The Jewish new year is comming! (next Wednesday) and I'm working hard in order to prepare "New year's" greeting cards.

This time, I made a greeting card based on Alice's tutorial.

In order to add an interesting touch, I combined a few different papers that have different textures. I also glued some elements with 3D adhesive . The hard part is to choose to whom I'll give the greeting card!

מריאלה חוגגת 40 - Mariela's 40 birthday

היום, 17.09.2011 אחותי הגדולה מריאלה חוגגת את יום הולדתה ה- 40! לכבוד האירוע המיוחד החלטתי להכין לה כרטיס ברכה מיוחד. כהרגלי חיפשתי רעיונות מיוחדים ולא טריוויאליים. בשיטות ברשת מצאתי קופסת מתנה לשוקולד שהחלטתי להפוך אותה לכרטיס ברכה בסגנון ספר צלליות. את ההדרכה לכרטיס (במקור קופסא) מצאתי בבלוג Tina's Kreativblog . אמנם הבלוג כתוב בגרמנית אבל אפשר להבין בקלות מה עושים.

Today  17.9.2011 , my older sister Mariela celebrates her 40 birthday! For this special occasion I decided to make her a special card. As usual I looked for special idea and not trivial at the web. Then I found a beautiful chocolate gift box that I loved very much and I decided to turn it into a 3D card. I made the card by the tutorial thet I found at Tina's Kreativblog. Although the blog is written in German, but you can easily understand what to do.

כרטיס ברכה לראש השנה, הדרכה מצולמת - Jewish New year card, Freebie and Tutorial

לכבוד ראש השנה, חברה שלי עינת קלסר שלאחרונה התחילה לנהל את הפורום "עיצוב אלבומים וכרטיסים" בתפוז, ביקשה ממני שאכין הדרכה מצולמת להכנת כרטיס ברכה לראש השנה, בו משולבים ה- Freebies שאני מעלה לבלוג שלי בכל יום ראשון. אמנם המשימה נראתה לי אתגר לא קטן, אבל כיוון שאני אוהבת אתגרתים, נגשתי ישר למשימה.

At the end of September we celebrate the Jewish New Year "Rosh Hashana". That's why my friend Einat Kessler, who became the forum's of "Design albums and gretting cards" manager  at the "Tapuz" web site, asked me to prepare a tutorial for a greeting card for "Rosh Hashana", which will be posted at the forum.

 She also asked me to use one of my Freebies on the card. So, I prepare a greeting cardwhich includes five small cards inside. Are you ready? Let's go!

הכרטיס ברכה שנכין מורכב מ- 5 כרטיסי ברכה קטנים. מוכנים? קדימה!

 שלב I: הדפסת הדמויות שהכנתי עבורכם Step I - Print the freebie avobe:

 1. שמרו את הקובץ במחשב שלכם.

1.Frist you sould save the picture above in your computer.

 2. הדפיסו את הדמויות. גודל הכרטיס הוא 6X6 אינצ' . לכן, צריך להדפיס את דמויות על חצי דף ולא בדף
     שלם (ראו תמונה לדוגמא):

2. Print the picture. The greeting card's size is 6x6 inch, therefore, You should print the picture not in a full size page, but in a half page size:

  מומלץ להדפיס את הדמויות על גבי נייר לבן עבה כגון דף ציור או נייר קארדסטוק לבן.
  טיפ: אני גזרתי דף בגודל A3 מתוך בלוק ציור לגודל A4 ואחר כך הדפסתי את הדמויות במדפסת הביתית.

I suggest you to print the characters on thick white paper as cardstok.

  שלב II - הכנת בסיס הכרטיס - Step II the card's base:

   חומרים לבסיס הכרטיס :
  קארדסטוק שחור  12X12 אינצ' .

Materials needed:
A black cardstok paper, 12x12 inch size.

  1. קלפו את הקארדסטוק השחור לחצי :

1. Fold in half the cardstok paper:

  2. סובבו את הדף וקפלו שוב את הקארדסטוק השחור לחצי כך שנשארים ארבע ריבועים
     בגודל 6X6 אינצ':

 2. Turn the cardstok paper 90 degrees and then, fold the paper in half again. Now you'll get 4 squares 6x6 inch size:

  3. גזרו את הריבוע העליון הימני:

3. Cut the ringht square at the top of the page - In Hebrew we write from the right side to the left side. In Latin languages, you write from the left side to the right side. So, I suggest you to change sides and cut the left square at the top of the paper instand of the right side.

  זהו זה! בסיס הכרטיס מוכן.  למעשה מה שנותר זה לקפל את הקארסטוק השחור באופן הבא: הורידו את
  הריבוע מס' 4 על הריבוע מספר 5 כפי שמופיע בתמונה:

Tha's all! The base is ready. Now you fold the card as follows: fold the 4th page on the 5th, so you can see the 3rd page:

   הניחו את הריבוע מספר 2 על ריבוע מספר 3 (סגרו את הספר) כך שלפניכן יהיה הריבוע מספר 1
   כפי שמופיע בתמונה:

Fold again the 2nd page on the 3rd page so you can see the 1st page:

   עכשיו, מה שנשאר זה להכין 5 דפים מדוגמים בגודל 6X6 לפי ריאות עיניכם!

The next thing to do is decorate the greeting card!

  שלב III - הכנת הכרטיסים שיודבקו על בסיס הכרטיס

Preparing the cards that will be pasted on the card

  חומרים להכנת 5 הכרטיסים שיודבקו על בסיס הכרטיס:
  * קארדסטוק מדוגם בגודל 12X12 אינצ' - אני השתמשתי בדף של Melissa Frances - Antonia
  * קארדסטוק חלק תואם לצבע הקארדסטוק המדוגם שבחרתם בגודל 5.75X5.75 אינצ' - אני בחרתי
     בצד התכלת של ההקארדסטוק American crafts, I do, viburnums.
  * דמויות ה- Freebie ששמרתם.
  * צבעים לצביעת הדמויות.
  * סרטים, פרחים, קישוטי עץ לפי הטעם, אבנים, אותיות בעברית, טוש ג'לי לבן.
  כלים נוספים: סרגל, טרימר או סכין חיתוך דבק דו צדדי, דבק דו צדדתי תלת מימד, דבק נוזלי.

Materials needed for making the fivepagesthatwill be pasted on the basis of the card:

* Cardstok paper 12X12 inches size - I've used Melissa Frances - Antonia

 *A square 5.75X5.75 inches of cardstok paper that seamlessly match to the 12x12 inch cardstok paper that you chosed, I chosed the blue side of  American crafts, I do, viburnums paper.
*My freebie.
* Colors for coloring the characters (you can use copic markers, pormarkes, pencils).
*Ribbons, flowers, wooden ornaments, rehinestones, Hebrew letters or anyother kind of letters, white jelly marker.
*A ruler, cutting knife or trimer,  two-sided adhesive glue, 3D glue, liquid glue.

  1. חתכו את הקארדסטוק המדוגם בגודל  12X12 אינצ' ל- 4 ריבועים  בגודל
     5.75X5.75 אינצ':

1. Cut the 12x12 inch cardstok into 4 squares of 5.75x5.75 inch size each:

   סה"כ יהיו לנו 5 ריבועים בגודל 5.75X 5.75 אינצ' (4 ריבועים שהכנתם מתוך הקאדסטוק
   המדוגם  בגודל 12X12 אינצ'+ הריבוע הנוסף שחתכתם קודם):

Now you will have 5 squares 5.75x5.75 inch size each:

  2. צבעו את הדמויות לפי טעמכם האישי. אני צבעתי את הדמויות בטושים Promarkers אך כמובן
      שאפשר לצבוע אותם עם כל צבע שרוצים כגון קופיק, צבעי מים, טושים רגילים.
  טיפ: ייתכן ואם צובעים את הדמויות עם טושים מסוג קופיק / promarkers או צבעי מים, הדיו השחור
          של הדמויות ימרח. לכן, חשוב לבדוק לפני שצובעים את הדמויות האם הצבע עמיד או שצריך לצבוע
          את הדמוית בזהירות ולא לעלות על הדיו השחור:

2. Paint the figures according to your personal taste. I painted the figures with Promarkers but of course you can paint them with any color you want, such as copic markers, watercolor pencils.

Tip: Be carefull! the black ink of the characters would tear. Therefore, it is important to check before you'll paint the figures that the ink is resistant to the markers otherwise you should be careful and do not paint close to the black ink:

    3. גזרו את הדמויות והוסיפו כיתוב אישי לשלטים של הדמויות:

3. Cut the figures as follows and add your personal whishes:

  4. הכנת הדף הראשון:
      בתחתית הדף הוספתי סרט תחרה לבנה, פרח לבן מסטן. מעל הסרט הדבקתי את דמות הילדה
      עם דבק דו צדדי תלת מימדי. בחלק העליון הוספתי פרחים בצבע תכלת:

4. The fisrt page:

At the bottom of the page I added a white lace ribbon and a white satin flower. On the top of the ribbon I taped the girl with 3D glue.  At the top of the page, I added a light blue flowers;

   כדי להוסיף עוד אפקט לדף הראשון, סימנתי עם טוש ג'לי בצבע לבן ציור של תפר כפי שמופיע בתמונה:

To add  another dimention to the first page, I marked with a white jelly marker a seam draw as shown:

  5. הכנת הדף השני:
      את הדף השני הכנתי עם הריבוע שגזרתי מהדף American crafts, I do, viburnums. 
      כדי לקשט את הדף השתמשתי בדויל שקניתי בחנות Big Deal (סניף רעננה), בחמסה מעץ
     שקניתי בחנות "מוזלים" ברעננה (חבילה של 5 חמסות בגדלים שונים עלתה לי 2.5 ש"ח!), דיו פגמנטי
     כחול, דיו גירי בצבע טורקיז, אותיות רבאון בעברית, פרח בצע תואם ובטוש ג'לי לבן.
     תחילה צבעתי בעזרת ספוגית לאיפור מסביב להחסמה בדיו כחול ואח"כ הוספתי את הדיו הטורקיז,
     כך שיצרתי צבע שהוא כחול טורקיז מסביב לחסמה.
     אח"כ הוספתי את הכיתוב באמצע החסמה ומה שנותר היה להדביק את הכל כפי שרואים בתמונה.
     בשלב האחרון, סימנתי בעזרת טוש ג'לי לבן מסביב לדף סימני תפירה:

5. The second page:

For this page I used the square that I cut from the American crafts, I do, viburnums paper. I use a doyle and a  wooden ornament (this ornament is called Hamsa a is a Jewish charm against "The evil eye"), blue ink,  turquoise chalk ink, Hebrew rubb-on letters, a matching flower and a white marker jelly.

 I use a makeup sponge in order to painted around  the ornament with the blue ink and then I added the turquoise chalk ink, so I created a turquoise- blue disstres color around the ornament.
 Then I added the flower. Then, I marked with a white jelly marker a seam draw as shown:

   6. הכנת הדף השלישי:
       במרכז הדף הדבקתי את הדמות של הילד בעזרת דבק דו צדדי תלת מימדי. אח"כ חוררתי
       מסביב לדף בעזרת  crop-a-dile . לאחר מכן, העברתי מסביב סרט אורגנזה בצבע תואם. את
       הרעיון ראיתי בבלוג שאני לא מצליחה להיזכר בשמו אך חשוב לי לציין שלא מדובר ברעיון שלי.
      לבסוף קשרתי את הקצוות עם פפיון. בתחתית הוספתי פרח בצבע תואם. בקצה הימני העליון הרטבתי
      את הדף וקיפלתי אותו קצת, רעיון שראיתי כאן:

 6. The third page:

For this page I glued fist the boy figure with 3D glue. Then, I cut around the paper's edges with a crop-a-dile and I ran an Organza ribbon between the perforations that I made with the crop-a-dile. I must say that I saw this idea in a blog some mounths ago and I can't remember the name of the blog. At the top of the right corner I fold the paper as shown in this tutorial :

   7. הכנת הדף הרביעי:
      הדף הרביעי הוא די נקי כיוון שהוא למעשה ברכה. לקישוט הדף השתמשתי במדבקות של
      אותיות בעברית, בפרח, אבנים בצבע תואם וטוש ג'לי בצבע לבן:

7. The fourth page:

In this page I added some blessing wishes. For this, I used Hebrew letters. Then I added a blue flower and some rhinestons. At the edges I marked with a white jelly marker a seam draw as shown:

  8. הכנת הדף החמישי:
      גם בדף הזה השתמשתי במדבקות של אותיות בעברית, בפרחים לבנים, אבנים בצבע תואם
      וטוש ג'לי בצבע לבן:

7. The fifth page:

For this page I also added a blessing wish in Hebrew - Happy new year - "Shana tovah" and I added a some rhinestons. At the edges I marked with a white jelly marker a seam draw as shown:

8. Mounting the card:

Before you glue the fist page on the fist base page, you shoul add a ribbon at the left edge as follows:

  לאחר מכן הדביקו את הדף הראשון המקושט על הדף מספר 1 בבסיס הכרטיס כך שנשאר רווח שחור
   דק בין הבסיס לבין הדף המקושט:

Now you can glue the fist page on the first base page as shown:

   באותו אופן הדביקו את יתר הדפים. כך נראים דף מספר שתיים והדף מספר שלוש:

In the same way you add the other pages - These are the second and the third pages:

  כך נראים הדפים מספר שתיים, ארבע וחמש:

Hereby the second, the fourth and the fifth pages:

  זהו זה! הכרטיס כבר מוכן! והעיקר שתהיה לנו שנה טובה ומוצלחת ורגועה לכולם !!!

לכבוד השבוע החדש התחיל, הנה עוד Freebie שהכנתי עבורכם. תהנו!

דף נסיכה למעיין - Princess scrapbooking page for Mayan

במפגש קיט החודש האחרון שאליס מ- My punch ארגנה, רציתי להכין למעיין דף מעוצב בסגנון רומנטי. בהתחלה היה לי כוון והתחלתי לעבוד עליו, אך תוך כדי שהתקדמתי הרגשתי שאני קצת תקועה. ניסיתי להיעזר באילנה שפרלינג המוכשרת שנתנה לי כמה טיפים לא רעים אבל הרגשתי שעדיין זה לא זה. לכן, החלטתי לעצור ולהמשיך את עיצוב הדף בבית .
למחרת, אחרי שהילדים הלכו לישון, הוצאתי את הסרטים שלי, הפרחים והכפתורים והתחלתי לשחק ולנסות מה אפשר לעשות. לבסוף, גיבשתי רעיון שאהבתי וזאת התוצאה:

In the last "Kit of the mounth" meeting of  "My punch", I decided to make to my daughter Mayan a romantic-style scrapbook page. At first, I got somee ideas so I started working on it, but as I went along, I felt a bit stuck. I asked for some help from Ilana Sperling a very talented artist who gave me some tips and ideas but I felt that I still stuck. So, I decided to stop and continue the page design at  home.
 The next day, after the kids went to bed, I took my ribbons, flowers and buttons and I started playing and trying to imagine what can be done. Finally, I devised an idea that I liked and this is the result:

  

לקישוט החלק התחתון של הדף השתמשתי בסרט, פרחי אורגנזה קטנים, להם הוספתי אבני חן. בנוסף הוספתי, תגית וגם מדבקת ראב-און. כדי להוסיף עוד טאצ', תפרתי פרח מתחרה שבמרכזו תפרתי גם כפתור עם קישוט בגוון המתאים.

I order to decorate the bottom part of the page, I used a bordeaux ribbon. Then I added small organza flowers and  rhinestons. In addition, I added a tag label and rub-on written-hand phrase. In order to add another touch, I made ​​lace flower ,in which I added at the center a decorative sewing a button onto the appropriate color.

 Around the little picture, I added a frame Rub - on that I got in the Kit. Below it,  I added the page's title
