אחרי החגים כבר כאן - I'm back

אני מודה שנטשתי את הבלוג שלי בתקופה האחרונה. חופשת הקיץ של הילדים, עומס גדול בעבודה, החגים העסיקו אותי הרבה לאחרונה ואני יצרתי על אש קטנה, ממש קטנה.
אחרי פסק הזמן שלקחתי לעצמי וכיוון ש"אחרי החגים" כבר כאן אני רוצה לשתף אתכם בעבודות האחרונות שלי.

הפעם אני רוצה לשתף אתכם במיני אלבום בסגנון וינטאז' שסוף סוף סיימתי! את האלבום עצמו בניתי בסדנה של לימור וובר המדהימה אי שם בחודש אפריל. בסדנה בנינו את בסיס הדפים ואת הכריכה וקיבלנו רעיונות לגבי בניית דפי האלבום.
את דפי האלבום עצמן, עצבתי בתשלומים עד שהייתי מרוצה מהתוצאה הסופית.

Hey there! It has been a long time since my last post. Unfortunately I was very busy lately: the summer vacations, tons of projects that I needed to finished at work, the jewish holydays...

All this time I worked on some projects (not as many I wanted) and now I would like to share one of them with you.

The first project I would like to share is a vintage mini album that I made at Limor Webber's workshop that took place in April. In the workshop we made the binding of the mini album and the basis of pages. We get some ideas how to finish the pages and I finished themin the last months.

מיני אלבום לנגה - Noga's mini album

לאחרונה הייתי עסוקה בהכנת מיני אלבום לאחיינית החדשה שלי - נגה.
כהרגלי, הכנתי את המיני אלבום מאפס! את הכריכה הכנתי משני צ'יבורדים בגודל 7.5X7.5 אינצ' ולדפי האלבום השתמשתי בקולקציה המדהימה של Graphic 45 שאני מאוד אוהבת Little Darlings.

למרות שנהוג להוסיף למיני אלבומים הרבה כיסים ותגים, השתדלתי לא להוסיף הרבה כיסים ותגיות ורוב הדפים שהכנתי היו פשוטים יחסית.

אחותי ובעלה ומאוד אהבו את המתנה ואני נהנתי לנשק את נגה בזמן שהם ראו את המיני אלבום

Recently I was busy making a mini-album for my new niece - Noga.

As usual, I made the mini album by myself! The cover was made with two 7.5X7.5 inches chipboards and for the pages I used the amazing collection of Graphic 45 that I really like - Little Darlings.

Although it is commonly to add a lot pockets and tags at the mini albums, I tried not to add a lot of them and most of the pages that I made were relatively simple.

My sister and her husband really liked the mini album, and I enjoyed kissing Noga while the looked at the mini album.

מיני אלבום פיה - Fairy mini album

לפני כמה חודשים ראיתי את הסרטון הדרכה של סטפני מילר להכנת מיני אלבום מדף מעוצב ושאריות דפים נוספים.
כיוון שמעיין ביקשה מזה זמן רב להכין ביחד יצירה, החלטנו להכין ביחד מיני אבלום לפי ההדרכה של סטפני.

מעיין עזרה לי בקיפולי הדף ליצירת הכריכה ובחרה את הדפים שיהיו בתוך האלבום ואני הכנתי את השאר.

A few months ago I saw a great video from Stephanie Miller where she explain how to make a mini album from one scrapbook page and other scraps.

Since Mayan (my daughter) asked me to make a project together, we decided to make a mini ablum together by Stephanie's video.

Mayan helped me to create the cover page (she made all the folds) and she chose the pages and I made the rest.

מיני אלבום Mini album - 10 years together

השנה, בעלי ואני חגגנו 10 שנים מאז הפגישה הראשונה שלנו.
במבט לאחור מרגיש כאילו תמיד הינו יחד. ב- 10 שנים הללו הספקנו לא מעט : התחתננו, עברנו 3 דירות, קנינו בית, הפכנו להורים לשני ילדים מקסימים, התקדמנו בעבודה, כל אחד בתחומו. טיילנו בעולם, טיילנו בארץ, עברנו חוויות משמחות, עברנו ימים קשים אבל תמיד היו ביחד.

לכבוד האירוע הכנתי לבעלי מיני אלבום שסיכם את 10 השנים שעברנו יחד וזה מה שיצא:

This year, my husband and I celebrated 10 years since our first meeting.

Truthly, it feels like always we were together .In this 10 years we had quite a few experiences: we got married, we moved to three apartments, we bought a house, we became parents to two wonderful children,we progressed at work. We visit different coutries, we passed over happy experiences and hard days also, but we were always together.

For the occasion. I made a mini album summing the 10 years we had together and this is what came out:

מיני אלבום ל"אחיין" החדש - Baby's mini album

החברה הכי טובה שלי ילדה לפני 3 שבועות תינוק מקסים ומתוק שבגלל שהיינו קצת חולים לאחרונה הכרנו רק אתמול.
כמו שאמרתי לחברה שלי, מבחינתנו מדובר ב"האחיין" החדש שלנו ולכן רציתי להכין מזכרת מיוחדת לכבודו.

לפני כשבועיים ביקרתי אצל דפי ממסטיקים וראיתי את הדפים המקסימים מהקולקציה
"Baby steps" של Simple Stories . בדיוק באותו יום בערב, כאשר שוטטתי ברשת ראיתי את מיני אלבום, עם אותם דפים שאני קניתי ולכן היה ברור לי שאני אכין לתינוק מיני אלבום בהשראת המיני אלבום הזה. לפניכם הגירסה שלי למיני אלבום:

My best friend gave birth 3 weeks ago a lovely and sweet baby boy that because we were a little sick we only met him yesterday.

As I said to my friend, because we are so close to her family, for us the baby is our "new nephew", that's why, I wanted to make a special memento in his honor.

Two weeks ago, I was at "Mastikim" store and I found a beautiful pages from the "Baby steps" collection by Simple Stories. In the evening, I saw a lovely mini album at the net, that was made with those pages and it was clear to me, that I'll make a mini album for the baby based on this mini album. This is my own version of the mini album:

מיני אלבום לכבוד יום הולדתה של חמותי - Mini album for my mother's-in-law birthday

חמותי חגגה את יום הולדתה בתחילת החודש. כיוון שהיא מאוד אוהבת את סיגנון הווניטאג'- רומנטי החלטתי להפתיע אותה ולהכין לה מיני אלבום עם תמונות שלנו בסגנון האוהב עליה - וינטאג'-רומנטי.
את מיני האלבום הכנתי עם הדפים המדהימים של Melissa Frances בשילוב הפרחים וסרטי התחרה המדהימים של חברת פרימה.

My mother in law celebrated her birthday at the begining of October. Since she love the Vintage-Romantic style, I decided to surprise her and I made a Vintage-Romantic mini album for her.

I used for this mini albumsome pattern papers of Melissa Frances that I love very much, flowers and lance from "Prima" company.

את המיני אלבום הכנתי בהשראת הכרטיסי ברכה שראיתי בבלוג של מליסה פרנסיס.

I decided to make the mini album based on the lovely cards that I saw at Melissa Frances blog.

כדי שהמיני אלבום יהיה יציב השתמשתי ב- Chipboard שחתכתי בגודל 6inch x 6inch. דף הכריכה חתוך בצורה שונה מיתר הדפים כדי ליצור אלבום יותר מעניין.

I used Chipboard for a stable base . I cut the Chipboard in 6inch x 6inch squares and for the cover I cut the Chipboard in a different shape in order to make the mini album more interesting.
