קנווס חדש Believe in your dreams canvas

אני רוצה לפתוח את הפוסט בהתנצלות על כך שנאלצתי להוסיף  מילת אימות לפני שאתם מפרסמים את הגובות שלכם, אך לאחרונה התחלתי לקבלת כמות אדירה של תגובות ספאם (כ- 20 מדי יום!) והוספת מילת האימות היא הדרך היחידה להתגבר על כך.

אני רוצה להציג בפניכם את הפרויקט האחרון שלי.
את הקנווס הזה הכנתי לפני מספר שבועות והוא מלא בג'סו, צבעים אקרילים, צבעי פנדה, מוד פוג', חותמות ועוד.
את הדמות (הדוגמנית אור גרוסמן) גזרתי מתוך אחד העיתונים שאני מנויה והתוצאה הסופית מאוד מוצאת חן בעיניי.

I want to start this post by apologizing to all of you for having to add the word verification before you post your comments, but recently I started to recieving a tons of spam comments (I recieve about 20 spam comments a day!!) but  this is the only way to avoid them.

Some weeks ago I made this canvas that I like a lot.
For this project, I used Gesso, Acrylic paints, crayons, Mode Podge, some stamps etc. I found the figure at one of the newspapers  that I subscribd (The beautiful girl is the model Or Grossman).

לפני כשבועיים, חברה מהעבודה חגגה את יום הולדתה. במקום להכין לה כרטייס ברכה החלטתי להכין לה מתנה שימושית יותר - לוח הודעות.
היא מאוד אוהבת את הצבע הסגול (לא פלא, קוראים לה סיגל!) לכן ידעתי שמה שלא אכין, רצוי שיהיה בצע סגול.

Two weeks ago, a friend of mine has celebrated her birthday. Instead of preparing another greeting card I decided to make an useful gift - a Notes Board.
She loves the purple color (no wonder that her name is Sigal - Violet in Hebrew) that's why I knew that my gift must be purple.

 

 

 

להכנת הלוח השתמשתי בלוח עץ שקניתי בחנות לחומרי יצירה, ג'סו, צבעים אקריליים בגוון סגול, מסקנטייפ,  דיו דיסטרס, מסכות ודפים מעוצבים מתוך הקולקציה A Ladie's Diary שאני כל כך אוהבת.

לקישוט הלוח השתמשתי בפנינים, פרחי נייר, אבני קריסטל ותחרה.

 

In order to make the Notes Board I used a wooden Board that I bought at a craft's store, gesso, acrylic paints (greenish and purple colors), Distress ink, masks and some designed papers from the  A Ladie's Diary collection that I love so much.

For the decoration I used pearls, paper flowers, gems and lace.

 

בשלב הראשון כיסיתי את החלק משעם כדי לוודא שלא אצבע אותו בטעות.

Fisrt of all I covered the cork so I ensured that will not paint it by mistake.

כדי ליצור מראה שבי שיק , צבעתי את הלוח בשכבה עבה של ג'סו והבשתי אותה.

To create a Shabbi Shic look, I painted the board with a thick layer of gesso.

 

לאחר מכן צבעתי את הלוח עם עם צעים אקריליים. לאחר שהצבע התייבש קצת, לקחתי מטלית לחה ושפשפתי קצת את הצבע, כך שחלק ממנו ירד וראו את שכבת הג'סו.

Then I painted the board with acrylic colors. After the paint dried, I took a wet wipe and I rubbed some of the paint, in order to get it down, so it was possible to see the Gesso layer.

אחרי שהצבע התייבש לגמרי קישטתי את הלוח וזאת התוצאה הסופית:

After the paint has dried completely I decorated the board and that the final result:

דף חדש October's Sketch at My Creative Sketch

הי לכם! לאחרונה התחלתי להשתתף באתגרים החודשיים. האמת, אני מאוד נהנית מזה כיוון למרות שהדף צריך להיות מבוסס על הסקיצה, אני מצליחה להביא את עצמי כל פעם מחדש.

הפעם הכנתי דף לסקיצה של חודש אוקטובר ב- My Creative Sketch.

Hey there! Recently I've started  participating at LO's challenges.  I really enjoyed it because even though the LO has to be based on the sketch, I can bring myself every time.

 

This time I made a LO based on October's sketch at My Creative Sketch

תג בסגנון רומנטי - Ladies diary tag

לפני כמה ימים חברה מאוד טובה שלי חגגה יום הולדת. במקום להכין לה כרטיס ברכה, החלטתי להכין תג שישמש אותה גם כסימניה לספר (למרות שבזכות התינוק המקסים שלה, לא נראה לי שיש לה זמן לקריאה).

להכנת התג השתמשתי בדפים היפהפיים של Graphic 45 מתוך הקולקציה Ladies Diary.

Last week one of my closer friends has celebrated her birthday. Instead of making her a greeting card, I made a tag that can be used also as a book mark (although that she has no free time for reading thanks to her beautiful baby boy).

 

For the tag, I used the beautiful pages of the Ladies Diary collection by Graphic 45.

 

 

 

 

 



אתגר חדש - Once upon a Sketch October Challenge

מדי פעם אני רואה אתגר עם סקיצה מעניינת ומחליטה להישתתף.
זה בדיוק מה שקרה לי כשראיתי את הסקיצה היפה והמעניינת שהועלתה באתגר לחודש אוקטובר ב-  Once upon a Sketch.
הפעם התבקשנו להוסיף לדף תווית המבוססת על הציטוט שקיבלנו, כאשר כל אחד יכול היה לפרש את הציטוט בדרך שהוא חושב לנכון.



 

From time to time, when I see an interesting challenge with a great sketch, it makes me want to participate. When I saw the October's sketch at Once upon a Sketch, I knew that I need to take a part of.

As we were told, we needed to create a layout based on the sketch and a specific quote that can  be interpret at any way we like. We also needed to incorporate a  journalling with our interpretation of the quote.

אני מודה! נדבקתי בחיידק המיקס מדיה וה- Art Journal!
האמת איך לא? מעבר לרעיונות היפים שאני מוצאת ב- Pinterest, לאט לאט מבחר המוצרים והסדנאות שמגיעות לארץ (אודות לעינת אלג'ם ולענת גרציאני) הולך וגדל ואני מוצאת את עצמי עובדת עם ג'סו, מסכות, צבעים אקרילים ומה לא.

לפני כמה שבועות מצאתי סרטון מדהים של היוצרת  Sandra Van der Geest  והרעיון המסתדר מאחוריו מאוד קסם לי. מייד התחלתי לחפש תמונות מהעיתונים, הוצאתי את חומרי היצירה שלי והכנתי דף כפול מבוסס על הדרכה של סנדרה.

I confess! I was hooked by the Mixed Media and the Art Journal!

The truth ,Why not? Beyond the beautiful ideas that I found on Pinterest,  the number of products and workshops that came to Israel (thanks to Einat Alagem and Anat Gratziani) is increasing and I find myself working with gesso, masks, acrylic colors etc.


A few weeks ago,  I found an amazing video from  the great artist Sandra Van der Geest and I wanted to make my own version. Immediately, I started looking for pictures at my magazines, I took all my stuff and I made a ​​double page based on Sandra's tutorial.
