קנווס חדש Believe in your dreams canvas

אני רוצה לפתוח את הפוסט בהתנצלות על כך שנאלצתי להוסיף  מילת אימות לפני שאתם מפרסמים את הגובות שלכם, אך לאחרונה התחלתי לקבלת כמות אדירה של תגובות ספאם (כ- 20 מדי יום!) והוספת מילת האימות היא הדרך היחידה להתגבר על כך.

אני רוצה להציג בפניכם את הפרויקט האחרון שלי.
את הקנווס הזה הכנתי לפני מספר שבועות והוא מלא בג'סו, צבעים אקרילים, צבעי פנדה, מוד פוג', חותמות ועוד.
את הדמות (הדוגמנית אור גרוסמן) גזרתי מתוך אחד העיתונים שאני מנויה והתוצאה הסופית מאוד מוצאת חן בעיניי.

I want to start this post by apologizing to all of you for having to add the word verification before you post your comments, but recently I started to recieving a tons of spam comments (I recieve about 20 spam comments a day!!) but  this is the only way to avoid them.

Some weeks ago I made this canvas that I like a lot.
For this project, I used Gesso, Acrylic paints, crayons, Mode Podge, some stamps etc. I found the figure at one of the newspapers  that I subscribd (The beautiful girl is the model Or Grossman).

קופסת צלליות - Ania Dabrowska (Finnabair) workshops

כמו שכבר סיפרתי לכם בתחילת אוגוסט השתתפתי בשתי סדנאות של האומנית אנה דוברובסקה הלא היא Finnabair.
בסנדא השניה הכנתי קופסת צלליות מקנווס.
אישית מאוד נהנתי מהסדנא כיוון שהתמשנו בהרבה חומרים והרבה שיטות והתוצאה הסופית היתה צבעונית מאוד!
אני כבר מחכה לביקור הבא של אנה כיוון שמדובר בסדנאות שלומדים בהן המון טכניקות ולא יוצאים עם ההרגשה של סדנאת "העתק - הדבק".

 

As I told you, at the beginning of August I participated in two workshops of Annia Dabrowska or as everybody knows her Finnabair. In the second workshop I made a beauty shadow box.

Personally I really enjoyed the workshop because we used a lot of diferent materials and I learned a lot of methods in order to make a very colorful shadow box!

I'm waiting for the her next visit. As I toold you before, I love her workshops  because you can learn a lot and it doesn't feel that it is another "copy - paste" workshop.

 

 

 

מה עושים בחופש הגדול: מיקס מדיה ! Summer Mixed Media

החופש הגדול אוטוטו מסתיים והשבועיים האחרונים היו אתגר גדול לכל ההורים שהיו צריכים למצוא רעיונות מקוריים כיצד לעסיק את הילדים. המשימה לא קלה כיוון שהילדים ביקרו כבר ברוב האטרקציות, חשבון הבנק מזמן פשט את הרגל והחום הבלתי נסבל מאוד מקשה על פעילות מחוץ לבית במקום שאין בו מזגן.
אני מצאתי את הפתרון: סדנת מיקס מדיה לילדי המשפחה!

האתגר היה גדול, מדובר בשישה ילדים בגילאים שונים (שנתיים וחצי עד אחת עשרה). כל ילד קיבל קנווס 30X30 ס"מ שצבע בצע אקרילי שהוא אוהב. קישנטו את הקנווס בעזרת מסכות, החתמות והדבקת נייר. לבסוף כל ילד בנה דמות על הקנווס, הוסיף את השם שלו והמשימה הושלמה!
אני חייבת לציין שכיוון שכל העבודה ארכה שעתיים, כדי לקצר זמנים הכנתי יום קודם את הדמויות והילדים הדביקו אותם.
הילדים מאוד שמחו מהיצירה שהכינו והעיקר שכולנו נהנו ליצור יחד.

The Summer vacation is ending soon. The last two weeks were a big challenge for all the parents who needed to find original ideas how to occupy the children. This is not an easy mission because the children had been in most of the Summer attractions, the bank account recently went bankrupt and the unbearable heat doesn't leaves no choice for outside activities where there is no air-conditioning.

I found the solution: mixed media workshop for the my children and my nephews!

The challenge was big, I needed to organize a workshop for six children of different ages (from two and a half years old to eleven). Each child received a canvas 30x30 cm that they painted with the acrylic color that they love. After this, they decorate the canvas with stamps and papers. Finally, each child built a character on the canvas, adding his name - And the mission was completed!

I must say that since the workshop took two hours, I made the day before the characters and the children glued them.

The children were very happy with their canvas and most importantly - They  enjoyed creating together.

מישהו אמר מיקס מדיה ולא קיבל? Mixed Media canvas and a New Freebie

ביום חמישי האחרון השתתפתי במפגש רבעוני בקומונה שאני חברה בה. כפי שנהוג אצלנו, המשתתפות מביאות מתנה למארחת שהכינו במו ידיהן.
כמו כולנו גם אני התאהבתי  ב-Mixed Media ולכן הבאתי כמתנה קנווס ותג שהכנתי בסגנון זה.

Last Thursday was the "quarterly meeting" at one of the Communes that I take part of.  As usual, the  participants bring their own prepared gift for the hostess.

Like many of you, I fell in love with the Mixed Media craft, that's why this time, I brought as a gift a smoler canvas and tag that I made.

קנווס שכולו חיוך אחד גדול - Smile canvas

לאחרונה אני יוצרת יותר ויותר בסגנון המיקס מדיה. האמת? ממש כייף לי אם כי לפעמים אני קצת מתוסכלת שהניסיונות שלי לא תמיד מצליחים ואני מוצאת את עצמי מתקנת שוב ושוב עד שיוצא משהו שאני שלמה איתו.

זה בערך הסיפור של הקנווס האחרון שהכנתי. התכנון במקום היה להעביר תמונה מעתון. בפועל, הנסיון לא כל כך הצליח לי ולכן, הייתי צריכה להתמודד עם כמה איזורים בקנווס שלא נראו משהו אחרי הניסויים שלי.

אחרי ששברתי את הראש מה אפשר לעשות, החלטתי לשלב בקנווס קצת סקראפבוקינג והתוצאה הייתה לא רעה מכלל!
לקנווס הוספתי תמונה מקסימה של מעיין מהטיול שלנו לתורכי לפני שיובל נולד. מעייני הייתה אז בת שנתיים וחצי, נסיכה קטנה ומקסימה שחילקה חיוכים לכל כיוון כמו שאפשר לראות בתמונה.

Recently I created more and more mixed media projects. The truth?  I really  have fun making this kind of projects, althought sometimes, I got frustrated  because some of my experiments are not always successful, and I find myself  trying to fix the mess again and again.

That's what happened with my last canvas. I planned to transfer an image from a newspaper. Actually I didnt' succed, so I needed to think what I should do in order to make somethig that would seem nice.

After thinking a lot, I decided to combine in the canvas some scrapbooking and the result was not bad at all!

 The picture that I added is an old picture of Mayan that was taken in our trip to Turkey before Yuval was born. Mayan was two and a half years old -  a charming little princess handing out smiles all around as you can see in the picture.

 

 

 

 

קנווס אביבי - A new canvas

חברה שלי מרינה חגגה במהלך חג הפסח את יום הולדתה. במקום לקנות לה מתנה רגילה (כמדי שנה) החלטתי שהפעם אני מכינה לה את המתנה בעצמי: דף מעוצב עם תמונה מהחתונה שלה וקנווס לפי הספר של Julie Nutting  בשם Collage Couture.

לקנווס הוספתי משפט שמצאתי ברשת ומאוד מצא חן בעיני: Every possibility begins with the courage to imagine.

My friend Marina has celebrated her birthday during Passover . Instead of buying her a present (as usual), I decided that this time I'll  make the present by myself. Actually I made 2 presents: a scrapbook page with a picture from her wedding and canvas based on the Julie Nutting's book called Collage Couture.

I added to the canvas a sentence that I found on the net that I really liked: Every possibility begins with the courage to imagine.

הדגלונים באים - Here come the banners

אתמול חגגנו את היום הולדת של בנות בקומונה שאני פעילה בה שנולדו בדצמבר, ינואר ופברואר.
בשתי מילים: היה כייף! (כמו שהילדים שלי עונים כל פעם שאני שואלת איך היה לך היום?).
למעשה היה מאוד שמח, טעים ובעיקר נהנתי לפגוש את הבנות שאני "מכירה וירטואלית".

לכבוד האירוע התבקשנו להכין לכל חוגגת כרטיס ברכה בצורת דגלון. כיוון שהפעם חגגו יחד איתי עוד 9 בנות, המשימה לא הייתה פשוטה ובשבועיים האחרונים היתי עסוקה בלהכין את הדגלונים.
אורלי כתב שהתנדבה לארח את כולנו ולכן הכנתי עבורה קנווס לפי הספר של Jullie Nutting  (לספר קווראים Collage Couture).

Yesterday we celebrated the birthday of the ladies from the scrapbook commune that I take part in that were born on December, January and February and it was fun!.

I enjoyed very much especially because I met the ladies that I know "virtually".

For the occation, we were told to prepare for all the ladies that had celebrated their birthday a "banner" greeting card.  This time we celebrated 10 ladies so I was busy at the last two weeks making the banners.

Orly (one of the lovely ladies of the scrap commune) volunteered to host us at her home and I made for her a canvas by the book of Jullie Nutting - Collage Couture.

קנווס לאפרת - A new canvas for my friend Efrat

חברה שלי אפרת או כמו שמרביתנו מכירים אותה קיפולית חגגה את יום הולדתה ב- 23.12.11.
לכבוד האירוע הכנתי לה קנווס קטן לחדר העבודה שלה. את הקנווס קישטתי בפרח הראשון שסרגתי בקרושט, כך שהצלחתי לשלב בתוך הקנווס את שני התחביבים העיקרים שמעסיקים אותי בתקופה האחרונה: סקראפ וקרושט.
אפרת אהבה את הקנווס והוא מקשט עכשיו את חדר העבודה שלה!

My friend Efrat has celebrated her birthday on Dec 23rd.

This time, I made for her a small canvas for her craft room.  I added to the canvas my first crochet flower.

Efrat loved my present very much and I was happy that I was able to combine in the canvas my two main hobbies: Scrapbooking and Crochet.

 

קנווס שכולו תודה A new canvas: Just wanted to say thank you

This week I decided to start writting my posts in English and in Hebrew for all my followers around the world. The English version will following by the Hebrew one:

לאחר בקשות רבות של קוראות מחול, אני מתחילה לפרסם החל מהשבוע הזה את הפוסטים בעברית וגם באנגלית.

הפעם, הכנתי קנווס בהשראת התמונה בתלת מימד שיעל מ"קונדסונים קטנים ועוד" הכינה. את הקנווס הכנתי לרוית שעובדת עם בעלי כהבעת תודה על בובות הגרב שהכינה למעיין וליובל וגם על כל הפינוקים שמידי פעם היא שולחת לנו.

This week I made a canvas to Ravit, who works with my husband, inspired on a 3D picture that Yael from the Kundas Blog made.

Ravit made to Mayan and Yuval a beautiful sock puppet and she always sends us goodies, so that it's my way to say her: Thank  you!

לכבוד Valentine's Day החלטתי להכין את הקנווס הראשון שלי שמוקדש כולו לבעלי היקר רני.
את הקוונס הכנתי ביום חמישי בשעות הקטנות של הלילה אחרי שהרגשתי "התקף של יצירתיות" ולא יכולתי לעצור עד שלא סיימתי את העבודה.
